Twitter To Help Deliver Christmas
Twitter has become a favourite tool for those wanting to communicate quickly, easily and to large groups of friends or followers. This alone means Twitter is likely to become one of the most heavily relied upon social networking inventions over Christmas.
As the festive season draws ever closer, the Internet is rife with people talking about which toys will make it in the Top 10 Present list of 2009. Year after year, eager parents hope to bag the most popular Christmas toys before they run out of stock, or start appearing on eBay at inflated prices.
The credit crunch has already had an impact on availability with many traders and retailers opting to lower order numbers, so as to have no repeat of last year with many online stores being left with unsold stock.
“Every year we see a huge uplift in visitors and emails to www.XmasElves.co.uk, all asking us the same questions and wanting to know which toys will be the most popular”, said Chris Frost.
“Unfortunately, we don’t get any prior notification, but we’ll be emailing our newsletter and updating our Twitter account the minute they’re announced”.
XmasElves plan to deliver up to the minute news on which presents will be hot and are most likely to fly off the shelves in 2009 by Twitter, and follow up with a newsletter showing consumers the best offers available to online consumers.
Fingers crossed Twitter won’t see any outages!
